The trainer:
I started working out when I started playing football when I was a Freshman in High School about a decade ago in 2014. I was 90 pounds soaking wet with boots on. The entire time i just thought of the gym as something in the way of getting to put the pads on and hit people (or get hit). None the less I didn’t take it seriously. It wasn’t until I was in the United States Marine Corps during the Covid-19 lockdowns. Most people lost the gym in that time… I found it. I read Arnold Schwarzenegger’s autobiography and the Arnold Schwarzenegger Encyclopedia of Body Building. I fell in love and became obsessed with how complex working out can get. It was no longer moving a weight from point A to point B. It was a science. (Not a science based lifter) I started “body building” with my best friend and made amazing progress but still wasn’t caring about my nutrition, we were just training hard… extremely hard. I then got orders from Uncle Sam to go to Hawaii in 2021 where I met one of my closest friends that got me to care about my nutrition a little bit and showed me how to properly train. I started making even more progress. Every time I found a new aspect of the sport, it became more addictive and rewarding. It felt great! 2022 comes around and I’m working with a coach to start my first prep for a body building competition while I’m on deployment. I was taking a hour long bus ride to and from the grocery store to get my food for the week. That food I would get would be cooked on a NASTY skillet on the floor of the barracks room and taken to the field with me for training operations to stay on my meal plan no matter what. When I got back from deployment I had my first competition in Las Vegas and got dead last. All it did was make me want to compete more. I knew I could beat the guys next to me. I took a year and a half to grow and man did I grow. I really was in-tune with my body and knew what workouts worked for me and learned a lot about how to grow muscle. (With help from others of course) I’ve had a coach for my nutrition, workout split, and posing but I never had a in-person training coach. That’s where I come in, I want to be that for you and help you grow and give you the knowledge, experience, and push to elevate your progress in the gym. Let’s get to the lab and grow some muscle. My dad has two quotes I always think of at the gym: “No one cares about how much you can lift, they only care about how much you look like you can lift” and “Some people drive a Ferrari and some people ARE the Ferrari”.
